Join Meaghan Keenan, founder of Good Karma Candles (aka candle expert) for an evening of candle making. This workshop is perfect for beginners. In this class, you'll learn about the candle making process, mix fragrances and pour soy wax to customize your candle (which you will take home!). We'll be using upcycled cocktail glasses in place of traditional jars.There will be plenty of time for questions/answers and some candle trivia (with prizes!)

20% of retail purchases made during this event will be donated to Reading Partners who work to increase access to high quality literacy instruction in low income communities.

About the instructor: "My name is Meaghan Keenan and I am the owner and creator of Good Karma Candles. I have loved "lotions and potions" as my 1st grade teacher coined it, as I strutted into school doused in my ''cucumber melon'' body spray, my whole life. As I got older and my nose became a little more refined I noticed I had many sensitivities to mainstream beauty products... and that was where Good Karma Candles came into fruition! Good Karma Candles combined my passion for delicious smells, giving back to my community, and using the highest quality  and safest ingredients I could possibly find in a way that I could share with the world."

Good Karma Candles are made with the finest and safest ingredients. The oils used to create GKC signature scents are free of the nasty stuff found in most other candles like phthalates, mutagens, carcinogens,  reproductive, organ and acute toxins.
